Mini retreat and time for personal reflection especially tailored for Catechumens and Candidates for the Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults, RCIA team members and Confirmation Candidates.
In the gospels it is made obvious that meals with Jesus provide more than physical nourishment. They insure spiritual health and strength for the Christian journey as much for us today at the beginning of the 3rd Millennium as they did at the end of the 1st century. Each meal story contributes to our understanding of Eucharist and gives us an insight into how we should live as Eucharistic people in our homes, our workplaces, our parishes, and in our communities.
Join us for a brief time of reflection on the seven attitudes that apply to those who wish to dine with Jesus. These are gleaned from the book Dining in the Kingdom of God written by scripture scholar Fr. Eugene LaVerdiere. They have special significance for us as we approach the Easter sacraments of Initiation.
