Walking The Labyrinth

“We shall not cease from explorations and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started . . . and know the place for the first time.” T.S.Elliot

The Ursuline Center has prepared a portion of its landscape into a sacred walk, modeled after the design found in Chartres Cathedral, France, with adjustments to make it both wheelchair accessible and nestle into the site.  The labyrinth’s path is of concrete with areas of stone in between.

The labyrinth is open year-round from dawn to dusk to all persons of faith. There is no charge to come out and use the labyrinth on your own. From April to October each year, we offer free, guided labyrinth walks that follow a theme.

This year’s themes will reflect an aspect of Saint Angela Merici’s Fifth Counsel.  All persons of faith are invited to participate in these free events. Walks generally take 20 minutes to ½ hour.

The Labyrinth Walks from April-October 2018 will be held on Sunday afternoons or Thursday evenings.
